“ 4 stars because this is childhood in a bowl for me. It's changed a bit over the years. Gone are the orange and white styrofoam containers (the large flipped in; the bowls, always having to make sure the flimsy tops don't pop off in the bag and spill). While the portions and beef jus have diminished over the years, the flavor is still as is. Seasoned with the togarashi (Japanese chili pepper seasoning) and the pickled ginger gives it that really good bite. I've made gyudon (beef bowl) at home but nothing compares to this nostalgic bite ”
“ It's a decent place to have a healthier lunch than you would normally get in most fast food chains. But that's not saying much, especially to anybody who reviews restaurants on Yelp. What really surprised me it's how hard the workers had to work to keep up. There was only one person taking orders and expediting and one person making the food. They looked haggard and very stressed. I don't know if that's Yoshinoya's policy but it didn't look very good. I was very grateful for them but I feel corporate is becoming detached as far as what workers go through everyday. That's all I'm going to say The food was okay for what you pay. Portion sizes have become significantly smaller, though. ”
“ Oh Yoshinoya you never seem to disappoint. Yoshinoya is a go to road trip spot for my husband and I. I am glad to report that we went to this location literally 20 minutes before closing and I am always weary of going around closing hours because I know that employees want to close up shop and head home but they were open and happy to serve us. What's better than getting a bowl of the flavorful gyudon (beef bowl)?! One of my friends would always ask for "extra beef juice" but depending on your mood it's pretty darn good on the rice. Aside from the beef bowl there are other food choices, however I can not really vouch for these items because the sole reason we come to Yoshinoya is for the beef bowl. There is also plenty of parking and the restaurant itself is clean. Would come again if I'm in the area. ”
